I don't think I've ever had a new bed..there may be one point when I was young that I didn't get a hand-me-down from one of my siblings, but regardless, I don't remember ever having a new one. When I first moved out of my parents house I bought my bed used..from a lady who quite possibly died in it (I don't know if she did, but I know she died, and I know I bought it)..the story was-Jeff (my brother-in-law) owned a drycleaner, and this bed was brought it for him to clean. After he cleaned it they never picked it up so I got it and have been using it ever since...I just haven't allowed myself to think about what happened in my bed before I got it.
Danny and I have been talking for a few years now about buying a new bed, but never got around to it until this past weekend we finally started shopping around. You know, bed shopping is actually quite exhausting!!! You go in a store and lay on a lot of very comfortable beds..what do you want to do after, go to bed!! But then you go home to your bed and it is just not NEARLY as comfortable as the hundreds of beds you lay in all day. Yesterday we FINALLY bought our first new bed..the good old bowling ball bed that you hear about in the commercials. Too bad we don't get it for a week, but I do love the anticipation. Now it's time to shop..new sheets, duvet cover, decorative pillows, and whatever else I can think about...help me Rhonda!! Any suggestions on where to go?
