Happy Thanksgiving!!!

How were your thanksgivings? Mine was WONDERFUL!! Friday I went straight to my parents after work and spent the evening making pies with my mom. When I got home I was feeling a little uptight knowing that the next day I was hosting a friend for brunch, needing to have supper ready for Danny's family (10 of us) that was coming and of course make sure the house was spic and span...this all didn't seem terribly doable, and I wondered why I made so many plans. Thank GOODNESS for the terrible weather Friday night because my brunch friend cancelled. I was SO relieved! Saturday I managed to relax, but still got my ham, scalloped potatoes, carrots and pies ready just in time for when my guests arrived ONE HOUR EARLY. And when Danny came home, he came bearing a dozen roses as a thank you for doing this for his family..how sweet.

Yesterday we had our thanksgiving dinner with my parents which was delicious as always. It was weird with half our family missing, but we still had a wonderful time together.

On Saturday as I was making the food and having a few panic attacks here and there..calling my mom at LEAST 7 times with questions..what would I do without her? I am SO thankful for a wonderful, supportive, generous and loving mom.
